#DCsBravest were swift water rescue training today in Montgomery County. Our Special Operations personnel spent hours in classroom and pool drills for the annual swift water rescue training. The entire course is 40 hours combined with classroom time, pool drills, and moving water exercises, provided annually for those who want to improve their rescue skills. Today is the first day of instruction in moving water on the Potomac. Soon, these members will be certified to safely rescue boaters & swim

Swift Water Rescue Training! You might have seen a lot of action on the water as week as Tulsa Fire Department hosted a three-day Swift Water Boat Operations Class at Zink Lake and Tulsa Wave Park. 57 firefighters from around the US learned skills essential for rescue during emergencies on the water.
