This is the BEST way to install rivnuts! Normally, when you install a rivnut into your tubing, it sticks out 1/16" or so... Using this method allows the rivnut to sit flush with the surface. That way, whatever you're bolting to the tubing can seat perfectly flat. If you need the threads to be a bit stronger, you can also TIG weld the rivnut all the way around and grind it flush so it blends into the tubing as a threaded hole! #welding #metalfabrication #fabrication #howto #tutorial #tipsandtrick
