A look behind-the-scenes at Taronga Western Plains Zoo. The Greater Bilby is a nocturnal species therefore a lot of the hands-on work involved with them happens at night. Zoo Keepers along with UNSW PHD student, Kate Cornelsen, start their night by setting traps around 7:30pm in the 110ha sanctuary and then returning around 9:30pm to start work.
