Post op cardiac patient had this rhythm in the ECG trace in the monitor. Its ventricular Bigeminy. One can see each normal beat is alternating with a ventricular premature complex (VPC). If you see the arterial line trace below it, during the VPC there is no effective contraction as shown by very small amplitude arterial waveform :) | Medical Snippet
