Elections to the Aizawl Municipal Corporation in Mizoram may get delayed till April or May. This was informed by Mizoram state election commissioner Dr H Lal-thlang-liana. Lal-thlang-liana said that election schedule for the Aizawl Municipal Corporation may be pushed beyond the term expiry. He said that the Mizoram state election commission is considering holding the AMC election in April or May. Canada officially opened its first High Commission in Fiji, and the Pacific region today, at Gladstone Road, Suva. The opening was hosted by Canada’s High Commissioner to Fiji, Jennifer Lalonde, during the official visit of Canada’s Secretary of State for International Development, Randeep Sarai.
