Previously, even though there was no lease buy out directly of a tesla model 3 or Y lease, a person could sell the lease to a third party auto dealer. May 14, 2023 · AFAIK, other Tesla vehicles do not have the updated PCS to allow that. The device I linked to specifically makes a DC connection by tricking the car into thinking it is going to be charged to get the contactors to the battery closed, but discharges the battery instead.
