Sox games are on MLB.tv out of market, as are Bruins games via ESPN+. FWIW, the only fully free, ad-supported, direct-to-consumer, streaming service for local teams that I am aware of is Victory+.

I would pay NESN $10 a year to have an easy non vpn way to watch the 20 Sox/MFY games that I currently cannot watch because I live in NYC and don't have cable. I'm saying I'm willing to pay more than just my mlb.tv sub to get legal access to games.

The alternate broadcasts, branded “Unobstructed Views,” will be hosted by baseball personality Jared Carrabis, beginning with the Boston Red Sox game against the Toronto Blue Jays on Tuesday, June 25 at 7 p.m. ET.

Feb 13, 2017 · From my understanding, you can only play, pause and rewind live games if you pay for the NESN 360 subscription. You cannot record anything through NESN 360. I'm out of the NESN service area, so this is a non-starter for me either way. I've read that the NESN 360 app is a disaster and causes people to frequently miss parts of games. YMMV.

Dec 3, 2018 · NESN has an hour-long special of in-season highlights that is well worth watching. It has the generic title "Red Sox Best of 2018 Special." Next airing on NESN: tomorrow at 9PM. They should release a DVD of that, it would be a great memento of the best regular season in the history of the team.

That was always sort of the case with games occasionally on Fox or ESPN but those were at least still on the same media platform (cable). I'm not signing up for Apple, even a free month or trial or whatever, just to watch one or two Red Sox games.

Sep 4, 2021 · I enjoyed today's NESN broadcast and am starting to get used to the new pairing. But they've also had a few good games to call. I'm still in SSS with those guys, but they were enjoyable today. I sense I like DOB more than most, but I liked Orsillo more than DOB. Orsillo might have been too goofy at times, but you knew he enjoyed what he was doing.
