Purchased a 65 GTO this summer in memory of our son that passed from cancer. It was his dream car. It has awesome paint job, acceptable interior work. Engine needed to pulled and freshened up.

The orangee wire comming thru the firewall in the engine compartment is not connected to anything. Nov 6, 2024 · What about making a duplicate key for an older car, like a 1967 GTO. Do you still have to go to a locksmith or can you just go to a key cutting machine to try and duplicate it?

Feb 21, 2024 · I did a TKX swap in my 67 GTO. Car was originally an automatic but someone had swapped in a Muncie before me. Very straight forward and I didn’t have to cut the floor, although I did have to clean up the previous hack job from the 4 speed conversion. Makes the car a dream to drive. I have 3.55 rear gears and I can cruise at 80 mph at 2500 rpm.

May 13, 2017 · The dinky little no-name storage battery (7 yrs old?) in my GTO is fading fast despite battery tender and a shutoff switch on one battery terminal (+). I am looking for a recommendation here. I've heard folks say use an Optima or similar, others only bother with a wet cell. I don't need a "correct" restoration type battery as my car is long gone from "correctness". …
