One of Reese Witherspoon’s most recognizable roles once landed her the responsibility of leading a jury. During a recent episode of “The Graham Norton Show,” the “Legally Blonde” star told fellow guests Ariana Grande,

"At the very end they say, ‘OK, well somebody in this group has to be the foreman.’ And they all unanimously are like, 'Her.' Me!"

Reese Witherspoon has shared that, when she did jury duty, her fellow jurors wanted her to be foreperson because of Legally Blonde.

Reese Witherspoon reflected during a recent interview on how her "Legally Blonde" character Elle Woods influenced her jury duty experience.

Not only was she selected, but the A-lister also had to serve on what she described as a “long trial.” While comedian Will Ferrell, who was also a guest on the show to promote their upcoming comedy You're Cordially Invited, jokingly dismissed two weeks as “not that long,” Witherspoon emphasized the commitment, saying:

It’s a civic duty that everyone eventually has to deal with – even movie stars – but Reese Witherspoon had a particularly interesting story to share when it comes to jury duty.
