Grand Rapids received nearly $1.5 million to install 32 electric vehicle charging ports to accelerate the expansion of a city-wide charging network.

According to FHWA, the Lucas County Transportation Improvement District will receive $14.1 million to install 360 new EV charging ports in Lucas, Ottawa, Sandusky and Wood Counties. The remaining nearly $4 million will be given to the City of Cleveland.

Over $18,000,000 will now be used to install over 400 electric vehicle (EV) charging ports across Pennsylvania. The funding comes from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law’s signature zero-emission refueling infrastructure programs and was announced by the U.

As many as 350 electric vehicle charging stations could go in to State University of New York campuses as a result of $15 million in recently announced federal funding. The stations will be spread across its 64 campuses.

Austin Energy received a $15 million federal investment to add electric vehicle charging ports throughout the city, U.S. Rep. Lloyd Doggett (D-Austin) shared in a Tuesday announcement.
