To many, Connor Stalions is a U-M football story. But what transpired on Sept. 1, 2023 at MSU is also a CMU story. And details are starting to emerge.

Sports Illustrated reported on text messages from 2021 in which Stalions referred to sign-stealing. Michigan suspended him as the school waited for the NCAA to finish its investigation.

Stalions was suspended by Michigan on Oct. 20, after he was named in an ESPN story as the focal point of the NCAA investigation into impermissible in-person scouting.
