Ben McLemore, a former forward and guard for Kansas and five NBA teams, will serve eight years in prison for raping and sexually assaulting a 21-year-old woman in 2021.

Ben McLemore has been sentenced after being convicted on one charge of first-degree rape, one charge of first-degree unlawful sexual penetration and one count of second-degree sexual abuse, per ESPN. The former NBA player was found not guilty of an additional count of second-degree sexual abuse. He pleaded not guilty to all counts.

Former Portland Trail Blazers guard Ben McLemore has been sentenced to 100 months -- just over eight years -- in Oregon state prison after being found guilty of raping a 21-year old woman at a house party back in 2021.
