Tesla is recalling 2,431 Cybertrucks over a potential issue with their drive inverters, according to a recall report submitted to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

The NHTSA said Tesla's investigation into the drive inverter began over the summer when the Austin-based company received a customer complaint about the sudden loss of propulsion in their Cybertruck.

Tesla’s fix involves a replacement of the inverter on 2,431 Cybertrucks. It’s the latest recall for the controversial EV model in 2024, following a camera issue.
