A man who is accused of waiting outside of someone’s house in Norwalk with a machete for several hours over the weekend has been arrested. Officers were called to Scribner Avenue on Saturday around 7:30 a.

The investigation found that Norris was on the porch for six hours. According to police, Norris was waiting for the victim with the intention of assaulting them with a machete. He was charged with first degree criminal attempt at assault, carrying a dangerous weapon, and disorderly conduct.
