Former Miami and Wisconsin quarterback Tyler Van Dyke has decided to continue his football career at SMU. Van Dyke started for the Hurricanes from 2021-23 before transferring to Wisconsin.

QB Tyler Van Dyke, who has 7,891 passing yards and 55 TD passes at Wisconsin and Miami, has committed to SMU from the transfer portal, his agent said.

Tyler Van Dyke is headed to SMU after playing out the first part of his college career at Miami and Wisconsin.

Tyler Van Dyke played three games for the Badgers in 2024 before suffering a season-ending knee injury. He'll be a sixth-year senior in 2025.
