Knicks insider Ian Begley reports Mike Brown and Taylor Jenkins, both fired this season, are on New York's radar.
It has been reported that the Dallas Mavericks denied a request to interview Jason Kidd, the Minnesota Timberwolves said no to Chris Finch, the Houston Rockets did the same with Ime Udoka, the Atlanta Hawks rejected a Quin Snyder interview, and the Chicago Bulls also shut down the idea of Billy Donovan.
The Knicks have been the recipient of much criticism from figures in sports media since firing Tom Thibodeau on June 3, with ex-NBA coach P.J. Carlesimo declaring that the team is “their own worst enemy” during a podcast appearance Tuesday.
Charles Barkley said on Wednesday night that New York Knicks officials "gotta be the stupidest damn people in the world" amid the team's coaching search.
