One of two men charged in last year’s killing of former “General Hospital” actor Johnny Wactor in downtown Los Angeles admitted to a jailhouse operative that he had shot the victim, a Los Angeles police detective testified Monday.

A hearing is set to begin Monday for two young men charged with murder in connection with last year’s shooting death of former “General Hospital” actor Johnny Wactor as he came upon a group of people trying to steal the catalytic converter from his parked car in downtown Los Angeles.

Wactor, 37, was shot and killed on May 25 when he interrupted thieves stealing the catalytic converter from his car in downtown Los Angeles.
