In an effort to reduce human-wildlife conflicts with grizzly bears, experts have proposed using remote-controlled drones to scare the animals away without harm. A new study highlights how this approach could be a safer and more effective method for managing bear populations,

"The drone was such an asset that I couldn't imagine doing the job without it," researcher Wesley M Sarmento said.
