An FWC officer said his body camera footage in Pino boat crash was mislabeled because it was ‘just another boating accident’ despite a girl killed.

A Miami-Dade detective told an FWC officer they could invoke emergency circumstances to get a blood draw on George Pino the night of his boat crash.

FWC Maj. Evan Laskowski said Cynthia Diekema was killed after the canoe she was riding in with her husband passed over an alligator hidden beneath them in roughly 2.5 feet of water.

FWC said the alligator attack occurred on Lake Kissimmee near Tiger Creek. A similar, though non-lethal attack happened in the same creek in March.
