MAYWOOD, Ill. — A pedestrian was struck and killed on the Eisenhower Expressway in Maywood early Monday morning, causing major traffic back-ups in both directions for much of the morning commute.

The crash happened at about 5:13 a.m. between Central and Laramie on the inbound lanes of the Eisenhower Expressway. Chopper 7 was over the scene at about 6 a.m. showing a rolled off the Eisenhower.
