Stanley has issued a recall of a massive 2.6 million travel mugs due to a fault with the lid which could cause it to fall off, posing a burn risk if hot liquid spills out.

Stanley said the recall includes double-walled mugs sold in colors including white, black and green, and in 12 oz., 16 oz. and 20 oz. sizes with a polypropylene lid, the Associated Press reported.
