Paul W.S. Anderson’s latest film In The Lost Lands is an adaptation of a George R.R. Martin short story. Dave Bautista plays Boyce, a drifter whose knowledge of the dangers hidden within the Lost Lands is critical to helping Gray Alys (Milla Jovovivch) on her quest for magical power.

Dreadnought follows Max (Bautista), a man trying to survive on a planet devastated by alien invaders. When this extraterrestrial species crash-lands on Earth, they unleash a deadly plague decimating humanity, killing his wife, and infecting his daughter, Greta. The aliens want to claim Greta's body, but for Max, that's not going to happen.

Given the phenomenal success of "Game of Thrones," which began broadcasting 14 years ago, it's somewhat surprising that "In the Lost Lands" represents only the second time author George R.R. Martin's work has been adapted for the big screen (the other being 1987's low-budget sci-fi horror "Nightflyers").
