At the end of the show, Strickland delivered a Swerve Stomp off a balcony onto Jon Moxley and a team of security. Moxley had successfully defended his AEW World Title against Cope in the main event, making Christian Cage pass out after Cage had inserted himself into the match via his cash-in contract.

Swerve Strickland was a little banged up after AEW Revolution. Strickland scored a big win at AEW Revolution, as he defeated Ricochet to earn a shot at the AEW World Championship. He also ended the night standing tall when he caught reigning AEW World Champion Jon Moxley by surprise after his match.

Swerve Strickland noted that he suffered a ruptured eardrum at AEW Revolution. Entering the AEW Revolution post-show press conference, Swerve asked for the media to speak up because he was dealing with a ruptured eardrum. Swerve defeated Ricochet at AEW Revolution to become the number one contender for the AEW World Title.
