Steelers Lose Key Assistant to Jets in Coaching Move
The Pittsburgh Steelers will be without inside linebackers coach Aaron Curry, who is taking a promotion with the New York Jets.

PITTSBURGH, Pa. (WKBN) – NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport is reporting that Steelers linebackers coach Aaron Curry is leaving Pittsburgh to take the same position with the New York Jets. He coached Steelers linebackers for the past two seasons, after spending two seasons as a defensive assistant in Seattle.
Aaron Curry to join Jets as linebackers coach
New Jets head coach Aaron Glenn is adding a fellow former first-round pick to his defensive staff. Per Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, Aaron Curry is joining the Jets as linebackers coach. Curry, 38, has been Pittsburgh’s inside linebackers coach for the last two seasons.
