Liverpool do not plan to make a second bid for Alexander Isak after having a first offer worth in the region of £110m rejected out of hand by Newcastle United.

Liverpool saw their reported £110 million bid for Newcastle ’s Alexander Isak refused this Friday, and seem unlikely to offer an improved bid. Though the offer is well below Newcastle’s £150 million valuation, ESPN report that the “nature” of the refusal suggests a renewed bid would be “pointless.”

Liverpool are not currently planning to submit a second offer for Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak, a source has told ESPN.
