The Kansas City Royals have made their move to add help in the outfield by trading for Arizona Diamondbacks veteran Randal Grichuk.

Major League Baseball's trade deadline is scheduled for next Thursday, which means teams have less than a week to get their midsummer shopping done. The moves have already started, as the Mariners recently acquired Josh Naylor from the Diamondbacks while the Yankees acquired Ryan McMahon in a trade with the Rockies.

The Diamondbacks continue to be sellers. Arizona shipped off outfielder Randal Grichuk to the Royals, The Post’s Jon Heyman confirmed on Saturday. Right-handed pitcher Andrew Hoffman is going back to Arizona.
