West Ham has lost its fourth consecutive home match in the Premier League. Brentford secured a 2-0 victory on Monday with late goals in both halves.

West Ham United bounced back from conceding an early goal to beat Newcastle United 3-1 on Sunday to claim their first home victory in the Premier League since beating Leicester City back in February.

Newcastle have work to do in the second half as Sven Botman redirects West Ham's cross into his own goal to give the Hammers a 2-1 lead right before the halftime interval.

Sonia Bompastor's side remain unbeaten at the top of the standings with six league wins so far and they stay one point ahead of Manchester City, who beat West Ham 1-0. Aoba Fujino opened the scoring for City in the 26th minute and they nearly had a second when Gracie Prior hit the crossbar after the break.

Erling Haaland struck a brace as Manchester City beat Bournemouth 3-1 to go second in the Premier League. Haaland scored either side of Tyler Adams’ equaliser before Nico O’Reilly’s first goal of the season ensured City would remain six points behind Arsenal.
