The new Galaxy S25 lineup holds multiple spots in our guide of this year's best phones. Samsung refreshed its Galaxy S line with the new 6.2-inch Galaxy S25 ($799), 6.7-inch Galaxy S25 Plus ($999), and the 6.9-inch Galaxy S25 Ultra ($1,299).

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is the best phone Samsung has ever made, but that doesn't mean it's the best phone for your next upgrade: You need to pay a relatively high price for the excellent display, top-notch cameras, and slick software on offer here.

That's called the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, and has been shown off already at the Samsung Galaxy S25 launch event. However, new information suggests there may be one fairly significant concession in the spec sheet.
