The Lions claimed a share of the ASUN Conference regular season title with a 74-69 win over Queens on Wednesday in Florence. This marks North Alabama’s first team championship in any sport since the program moved to the Division I ranks in 2018.

The North Alabama Lions play the Jacksonville Dolphins in the ASUN Tournament. The teams meet Thursday for the third time this season.

BOTTOM LINE: Lipscomb takes on North Alabama in the ASUN Championship. The Bisons are 16-4 against ASUN opponents and 8-5 in non-conference play. Lipscomb is the best team in the ASUN in team defense, allowing 67.4 points while holding opponents to 42.5% shooting.
