Air France passenger who died on Boston flight suffered heart attack, doctor intervened on board: ‘Air France regrets this sad event and expresses its sincere condolences’

Massachusetts State Police are investigating an unattended death on an Air France flight from Paris to Boston.

A passenger died onboard a Tuesday flight heading to Boston's Logan Airport from Paris, Massachusetts State Police said.

Calling it “an unattended death” aboard the flight, Massachusetts State Police said someone called the Crime Scene Services Section about the death.

Authorities identified the passenger who died aboard a Boston-bound international flight on Tuesday. According to the Massachusetts State Police, 53-year-old Barbara Dipoli of Topeka, Kansas, was a passenger on an Air France flight from Paris to Boston when she suffered a medical episode during the flight.
