Fubo will be combined with Hulu's live TV service and offer a new streaming package with ABC and ESPN channels.
Streaming TV company Fubo took on Disney, Fox, and Warner Bros. Discovery's sports streamer Venu and emerged as a big winner.
Disney shareholders are set to own 70 percent of this new service, with Fubo getting the other 30 percent. Also included in the deal is a payment of $220 million from Disney, Fox and Warner Bros.
More info. It was announced this morning that Fubo and Hulu + Live TV are getting combined into a single business. Once the dust has settled, Disney will be the majority owner while leading it ...
Hulu with Live TV still has this, so it seems likely that a successful merger would see Fubo streamers get access to this again ... so we'll find out more then.
