A 15-year-old boy was killed, and three other teenagers were seriously injured in a crash on J. Turner Butler Boulevard (JTB) Friday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).

FHP says the last passenger in the Lexus, a 15-year-old boy, is the one who was killed in the crash. All of the occupants of the vehicle are from Jacksonville, the report mentions.

The FHP said the Summerfield man was driving a Volkswagen Jetta south on U.S. 301 at a high rate of speed and attempted to pass a Dodge Charger driven by a 51-year-old Ocala man.
