Shamar Arnoux, a four-star cornerback from Carrollton (Ga.) High School, committed to Auburn and Hugh Freeze on Thursday, backing off his pledge to Lincoln Riley and USC, where he'd been committed since June 26.

Coming from Southside High School in Selma, Erick Smith also becomes Auburn’s third receiver commit in the class, joining his brother, Derick, and Sam Turner. Erick Smith is the No. 1600 player in the country and No. 54 player in Alabama, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
