CANYON COUNTY, Idaho — Idaho State Police are investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash that occurred just after 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 28 at the intersection of US-95 and Highway 20-26, just north of Parma.
The Lava Ridge project, spanning 57,447 acres across south-central Idaho’s public lands, is paused until further review.
A 24-year-old man was driving north in a Honda Civic on U.S. 95 and the deceased was a passenger, according to law enforcement. Around the same time, a 25-year-old woman from Kansas was driving south in a Toyota, and collided with the Honda as the driver tried to turn west on U.S. 20-26, police said.
