A number of celebrities have recently made substantial donations to help the victims of these fires. American thrash metal band Metallica donated $500,000 via its All Within my Hands foundation. The FireAid Benefit will be held on January 30th at the Intuit Dome and Kia Forum, with Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, and Joni Mitchell on the lineup.
