Married at First Sight is moving from Lifetime to Peacock beginning with Season 19. Peacock announced the move in a press release Friday following "a competitive situation" for rights to the show.
In a surprise move, Peacock has landed rights to Married at First Sight in a deal with the show’s producer, Kinetic Content. The agreement includes a multi-season commitment for the show, which has aired more than 300 episodes in the past decade, primarily on Lifetime.
Netflix announced a reboot of the 1970s drama earlier this week, prompting seemingly genuine fears of "woke" inclusivity from the former Fox News host.
