It's going to be a very busy spring, summer, and fall for Lionel Messi and Inter Miami, who are led by Javier Mascherano in their defense of the Supporters' Shield and quest for a first MLS Cup.

Inter Miami won the first leg of the Concacaf Champions Cup Round One 1-0 at Sporting KC last week. The deciding leg is Tuesday in Fort Lauderdale.

Messi first corralled a Luis Suárez cross via a deft touch with his chest, before letting the ball bounce and firing a half-volley past Kansas City keeper John Pulskamp at the near post. The goal put Miami ahead 2-0 on aggregate in the first round tie.
