Killian Hayes is once again without a home in the NBA. After a 10-day contract with the Brooklyn Nets, Hayes doesn’t have a team but that doesn’t mean he won’t be back in the future. According to Bovada,

The Nets made a contract decision on a former top draft pick following a six-game audition over the last two weeks.

Portland Trail Blazers guard Shaedon Sharpe could not duplicate Wednesday’s career night during Friday’s win at the Brooklyn Nets. But he might have if the game had been closer. Sharpe scored 25 points during the 121-102 win at the Nets, but that included playing just over three minutes in the fourth quarter.

Killian Hayes’ 10-day contract with the Nets, which was originally agreed to on Feb. 20, expired after the team’s 115-94 loss to the Detroit Pistons last Saturday.

What’s clear is they fell back into their losing ways, suffering a 121-102 thrashing at the hands of the Trail Blazers before a sellout crowd of 18,018 at Barclays Center. The loss marked their third straight, after a hot stretch that had seen them win seven of nine.

Seven Blazers scored in double figures, led by guard Shaedon Sharpe. He scored 25 on 9-of-14 shooting to follow up his career-high 36 points during Wednesday night’s win at the Washington Wizards.
