Straka intends to play in the Tour Championship next week, but he won’t be at Cave’s Valley Golf Club near Baltimore for the BMW Championship

Sepp Straka withdrew from the BMW Championship due to a family emergency, just weeks before the Ryder Cup, risking his automatic qualification chances.

Along with his two wins, Straka secured top-10 finishes in some of the PGA Tour's biggest events, including the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, the Arnold Palmer Invitational, the Memorial Tournament and most recently the Scottish Open.
