Meet the Philadelphia Eagles' famous bald eagle
PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- When Lincoln Financial Field is packed on Sundays for the Philadelphia Eagles, at least one fan is likely to get the perfect bird's eye view! Literally, the view of a bird - an eagle, in fact. Lincoln, the bald eagle, has become famous for his flights before games.
According to People Magazine, the 27-year-old bald eagle travels from American Eagle Foundation all the way to the Linc on game days. Lincoln was hatched in 1988 at Eagle Mountain sanctuary.
