Jay Johnson and the LSU Tigers will return to Alex Box Stadium on Sunday afternoon for Game 3 against the North Alabama Lions with first pitch set for 1 p.m. CT. Johnson and Co. took down the Lions in Game 2 on Saturday behind a strong performance from starting pitcher Anthony Eyanson on the mound.

LSU junior right-handed pitcher Gavin Guidry will "probably" be unavailable to pitch this weekend, coach Jay Johnson said Wednesday. D1Baseball reported on Thursday that Guidry has a lower back injury. The ailment, which Johnson called a mid-body injury, has kept him out for the past two weekends and he has not pitched yet this season.

LSU wasted no time getting on the board as Jared Jones hit a two-run shot to give LSU a 2-0 lead. Jake Brown followed that with an RBI single and then Steven Milam scored to make it 4-0 Tigers after one inning.
