AI chatbot Grok, which is produced by Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence company xAI, issued an apology Saturday after it made numerous antisemitic posts on X this week following an update
Built using huge amounts of computing power at a Tennessee data center, Grok is Musk's attempt to outdo rivals such as OpenAI's ChatGPT and Google's Gemini in building an AI assistant that shows its reasoning before answering a question.
The tech billionaire unveiled its latest version, Grok 4, which he claims is "smarter than almost all graduate students, in all disciplines, simultaneously."
Authorities said the chatbot generated responses insulting the strongman president, modern Turkey's founder Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and religious values.
