Florida football starting QB DJ Lagway will be limited throwing this spring as he looks to heal from shoulder and lower body issues, Billy Napier says

Florida quarterback DJ Lagway will be “limited in throwing activities” during spring practice. Coach Billy Napier says Lagway also is dealing with a lower-body injury, but he provided few details other than saying the quarterback didn’t have any offseason surgery.

The Florida Gators will look to rebound in 2025 from a difficult 7-5 season last year. Under center, the team will be led by one of the most exciting players in college football, DJ Lagway. Last year, the 6-foot-3, 239-pound freshman passed for 1,915 yards, 12 touchdowns and nine interceptions.
