Friday morning begins with patchy fog that should begin diminishing after 9 a.m. The fog area covers most of Central Florida, according to NWS Melbourne. Visibility is reduced to one mile and in the thicker parts, a half-mile or less.
Dense fog with heavy rain Friday morning in Chicago
CHICAGO (CBS) — Heavy rain moves into the Chicago area Friday morning. A dense fog advisory is in effect until 9 a.m. Commuters can expect decreased visibility. The bulk of the rain will move through the area between 8 a.m. and noon. A flood watch iss posted until 3 p.m. as some areas may pick up as much as 1.5" of rain.
