One of Them Days shocked the box office this weekend as the SZA and Keke Palmer comedy passed Universal’s Wolf Man reboot. The Sony movie opened in second place at $11.6 million at 2,675 North American theaters-with an estimated $14 million more expected through the end of the holiday weekend on Monday.

Per Deadline, Mufasa: The Lion King is projected to earn $11.5 million through Sunday and $15.5 million through the four-day MLK holiday weekend. If the estimate holds it will boost Mufasa’s running domestic tally to $209.7 million since its Dec. 20, 2024, opening.
