Football's world governing body suspends Congo-Brazzaville from internationals because of third-party interference in the affairs of the country's FA.

Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) has taken swift action by suspending the football federation of Congo-Brazzaville with immediate effect due to 'serious circumstances.'

The Normalisation Committee has been at loggerheads with the state-run Pakistan Sports Board which has caused a hold up in the amendments

FIFA had recently intensified its push for constitutional amendments to establish fair elections and ensure proper governance within the PFF.

FIFA has suspended the Congo Republic's and Pakistan's football associations due to violations of statutes. Congo faced issues over third-party interference, while Pakistan's suspension is due to governance concerns.
