A car crash was reported Wednesday afternoon in the North Auburn area of Placer County, California Highway Patrol logs show.

The winter storm that moved through Northern California on Wednesday has been a "really good snow producer, and it’s been a decent rain producer as well,” Meteorologist Dirk Verdoorn said.
