A team from Mongolia was named the winner of the 2025 World Snow Sculpting Championship in downtown Stillwater on Saturday evening. Known as Team Falcon, their sculpture titled “Voice” took the top prize at the event’s closing ceremony at Lowell Park.

Twelve teams from around the world finished their chiseling and carving on Saturday, where they on the banks of the St. Croix River since Wednesday. Team Mongolia, also known as Team Falcon, took home the win with their sculpture titled “Voice.

A total of 12 teams from all around the world competed from Wednesday to Saturday in the event held in Stillwater.

Snow sculptors from around the world have descended on Stillwater for the 2025 World Snow Sculpting Championship.

Thirty-six teams from 21 countries applied to take part in this month’s competition, which will be held Jan. 15-19.

Now in its fourth year, Stillwater’s Lowell Park will host an eye-popping handful of finely carved snow sculptures.
