Storm Floris will batter parts of the UK on Monday with unseasonably strong winds, the Met Office has announced.

Northern areas of England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland are set to be the worst hit areas, according to the Met Office, with a yellow warning in place.

Storm Floris will bring "unseasonably strong and potentially disruptive winds" to Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and the North of England on Monday, the Met Office has said. A yellow weather warning will come into force at 06:00 on Monday and remain in place until 06:00 on Tuesday.
