Senate Republicans are expected to debut their new leadership team in a press conference around 2:00 pm, after selecting a new majority leader on Wednesday. Sens. Rick Scott, John Thune, and John Cornyn have thrown their hats into the ring to replace Mitch McConnell as the Senate Republican Leader.

Republican John Thune, who has been voted leader of the Senate, has not shied away from criticizing President-elect Donald Trump in the past.
